I got this the other day from DX and at first was very disappointed in the K2. Very yellow and very dim. I had bought the light because Ive had good luck with the K2 and this light has a tactical forward clickie. So I decided to put in a SSC P4. Had a hell of a time getting the head off (glued). Once it was off changing out the led was easy. Now the light is super bright, great spot and flood, great switch. Great runtimes too. I got 1 full hour of full brightness, another hour gradually dropping to about 45 % brightness. Then another hour of about 20% light (still very useful light). It uses two CR123 BATTERIES. After the runtime test the batteries read 1.28 volts each. The only problem is for the first hour of runtime the light gets really hot. I could only run it for 15 min at a time because of the heat.
