I'm just wondering if anyone out there has tried the E1B head on a 2 cell body, eg. E2E/D/L body. I've come across some beamshots, one in particular surprised me. There's a beamshot of an L1, which looks normal, then they put the L1 head on a E2 body and it seems noticeably brighter.

I wouldn't mind trying the E1B head on my E2D.

The E1B head will fit the E2D body, but the circuitry will limit the voltage and you'll get a slow-strobe effect. If you get the head modded by milkyspit, he'll change out the circuitry and then you'll be able to use 2 primaries or 1 x 17670 in that E2D body...if the body is bored out to fit a 17670.
