Anyone know anything about the Huntlight 10W HID? Just saw it browsing Huntlight's website (they have a lot of new stuff...well, upgraded versions of their Lux lights...don't know why they not on CPF anymore to promote them), and saw the HID. The thing that caught my eye was its size...123mm, or 4.8". That's the smallest one I've ever seen! And from the pics, it looks like a real fatty...short and stubby...which I like...just looks funny to me. Here's a link to the page:

The Wolf Eyes 10W is 160mm or 6.3". The Huntlight 10W is 123mm or 4.8"...quite a bit smaller. I still haven't been able to find any retailer for the Huntlight tho.

Edit - Looked at the X-Alpha on Supertactical as Cigarman mentioned, it does look identical. Damn that's a short HID! It's the length of my E2D, but 500 lumens! I guess it saves the space by using a twist switch instead of a clicky like the Wolf-Eyes and Microfires.

The X-Alpha is quite a bit more expensive than the Boxer from Pacific Tactical Solutions even before the CPF discount.

More important: I don't see any replacement X-Alpha bulbs for sale.
