Feasability of time travel

I personally subscribe to the theory that time travel is not possible. But if it were, out of all the movies/tv shows featuring time travel I think that the new Star Trek offers the best explanation. Spock and the Romulans got sucked into a black hole and spat back out at a random point in time and space. Thus there is no problem regarding location relative to moving planets (although it is fortunate that they did not appear inside a planet or star). Their time travel creates a parallel universe, so nothing they do affects the future that they came from. If time traveling Spock were to kill young Spock nothing would happen, apart from younger Spock dying of course. Time traveling Spock would still be the same because nothing happened to his younger self in the universe he came from. So everything would work, if only there were actually black holes that transported you through time.
