Fenix P1d,P2d,P3d RCR123's?

Search feature hasn't been working for the past few days, for me, i asked wade and he told me i would lose the lower levels of the light

i just want opinions from other people what would happen if i used RCR's in these three lights? light-reviews.com says you can but pts and fenix store don't mention this at all.

any help is appreciated, thanks.

If you use 3.7v Li-Ion, you loose the low modes in the P1D and P2D. LiFePO4 or regulated 3.0v Li-Ion should allow you to keep the low modes.

P3D works fine on all rechargeables.
