FF3 Mod to Rebel?

I love the Rebel 100 in my P2D-P100's and my FF3 needs to compete again. Is anyone modding the Firefly FF3's with one of the new LEDs? Is this finally an LED that's an easy mod for the FF3?

I have modded 3 with a seoul. you dont need to use a copper shim, just isolate it with AA epoxy as with other seoul mods. makes a great light much greater.

The Seoul mod sounds good but I am concerned with the 1 amp plus drive levels of the driver. How does the stock reflector react with the Seoul?

My hope is that Lumileds gets the K2 rolling with Rebel technology so we can get the brightness of the Seoul with the robustness of the K2. Any idea when the "K2 Rebel" will make an appearance?
