I'll take (1) bezel only, HA-NAT, TXOK, with polished reflector, the same as This Is Nascar's Order if available. I would prefer to pay you via Postal Money Order if possible. Please email or PM me your mailing address and I will send out the funds Monday AM.

I suppose I can, but I would like to focus on these arc aa's first.

Do you have an arc aaa host?

[/ QUOTE ]

I would also be in for this and yes I have a host.

Yep! They just showed up. I'll be working on them through the
weekend. Most people wanted the white TXOK. I might just mod them
assembly line style so future orders will be quicker /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

You act like you've been busy organizing a group-buy or something. :)

Oh yeah! and It's driving me :pullhair:
The real work is in the next few weeks.
So I have to take advantage of this weekend and knock this out.
You guys will be impressed with this mod.
I gave one to my brother and he ditched ALL his lights including his arc aaa.
He says theres just no comparison. :)

Yes, I do have an AAA Host.

What is the water resistancy on the AA?

Forgive my inability to count, but if there are any left, I'd love to get one whole unit with a white TXOK (first choice) or green (second choice) LED. I assume that the spill is broader without the polished reflector?

If one is still available, please PM me with details about sending payment.

Sorry to be "dim:" I'm a newbie.

Thanks very much!

At this point I am not doing any arc aaa's. Not until the arc aa's are done.
The water resistance is the same as the stock arc aa.

Yes, TXOK is available.

However, the only set left is the special bare AL one.
5 heads only left.

Yes, you have a better flood with a brushed reflector, and not
much of a hotspot.

Happy to have the bare one. Let me know how to proceed. Sounds like a really wonderful EDC light.

Thanks again!

The bare AL is available I just have to strip the head - unless you don't want
me to :)

UPDATE: I just finished removing the guts, enlarging the hole, and
boring the head to a depth where the emitter sits at the base of the
reflector - in all 12 HEADS!! It took a while.

My dremel died on me and had to get another :)

Next step, pot the emitters into the head with custom heat sink!

I am going to build one head with a cree :) we'll see how that goes.

more updates to come as they are available.

That's a tough call! I guess I'd rather the pieces match, although truth be told, I'd rather have HA all over than the bare Al, since it's for EDC.

Thanks again.

I've thought on it more, and if you haven't stripped it yet, please don't bother. I'll try to get a HA body to match the head--but I'll gladly take the bare Al body in the meanwhile.

Thanks much!

Wow, you posted just in time as they were just about to get dropped in
the stripping solution. :D
