Many members like to lego their flashlights into all sorts of combinations. I got the idea that it might make a good thread. Here are a couple of my favorites. I hope you'll post info about yours with photos if you like!

Below is a Gunmetal 6P. I didn't have one with a bored body so I used the L2P body. This way I can run a Nailbender SST-50 with an IMR18650. It has a Gunmetal Surefire head and tail with a McClicky installed.

This one has the Surefire 6P body with the L2p head and a Z59 tailcap. I like forward clickies. The D26 is a Dereelight XP-G R5 powered by 2 X IMR16340

Whacky? Ok I showed you mine....now you show me yours!

Well, you asked to see some lego lights.

I think this is the best one ever!

I bought this at Kmart for $10 and it puts out about 5 lumens and runs on 3 AAA's, so I'd imagine it would make a very good emergency light.

Doesn't anybody have some interesting flashlights with legoed components? I had hoped to see some weird turbo headed chimeras!

How about a 4.5" turbo head on a CR2 body?

Donn... I've seen some crazy lego's... but this is one of the best/funniest I've seen yet:thumbsup: I'm betting it works with a tower module. I'll look through my parts and see what kind of weird lego light's I can come up with to keep this thread going.

Thanks to recDNA for starting this thread. Legoing light's is why I've bought so many parts I probally didn't need to buy:crazy:... but at least I'm having fun:twothumbs I think there is an old thread that is similar to this one, but who knows how far it's dropped down the list.

Probably not. It's an empty FiveMega PAR36 head, but there's a 6x LED 900 lumen tractor lamp replacement heading my way for it. Unfortunately, I'll have to take the CR2 body off...because the lamp needs at least 10V.

How about Titanium legos? All 5 bodies work with both heads.

Two different 1x123 bodies
17500 body
18500 body
18650 body

27mm SSC P4 head
20mm SSC P4 head

Two Mr. Bulk Control Modules.

These guys have been playing 'Musical Malkoffs' all day and this is the result;

img0874u.jpg

V2 Wildcat in the MD4 with two 18650s so I don't have to cringe every time I power it up, M60 in the MD3 because I prefer the form factor to the original MD2+M60 which is almost too small, it ends up getting lost in the pocket. The new Hound Dog quickly found itself on the MD2, the size of the head makes up for the small body and the taper of it makes it very comfortable to hold. The relatively low draw and the addition of a low mode also makes it a less ridiculous proposition than a Wildcat on the MD2. (which I have also done, it ends up looking like a funny little thing with Napoleon syndrome.)

Hey! Some of you guyz aren't playing fair! Part of the deal is to TELL us about your lego.

Who manufactured each part?

What kind of battery do you use.

Which LED is it?

Don't be afraid to show us and tell us about regular looking legos too! I'm fascinated to see which parts work with which and I bet a lot of other folks are too. My Surefire/Solarforce combos are the most mundane yet!

THREE Malkoffs! Man I'm jealous.

Hey Donn - How about putting an XR-E R2 in that turbo head? The CR2 could power that! Unbelieveably cool combo!

Nice titaniums! What is that Millennium combo?

DM51 - What is that thing? Neat looking but I'd love to hear the details.

Hey Jash - that's really nice looking. I had no idea they went together.

Another non-working combination. An empty 4" "Mammoth" head with a 1D Maglite tailswitch body.

IMGP3132.jpg

This one works. It's an M4/SW02 with a Maglite head running an X-Bin ArcMania turbo tower.

Here's the ultimate classic Surefire lego set, running both LED and incan:

IMGP3239.jpg

On top, L-R, a 3" SF turbohead and a 2.5" SRTH.

In the middle, L-R, an older generation ribbed M3 bezel (Z46) with a bead-blasted Ti ring and a Nailbender D36 SST-50 drop-in. Next is an HA3 C2M adapter. Then an HA3 A19 1-cell extension, bored for 18mm cells. Finally, an SW01 'Fatty' in HA3-BK, with clicky guts.

Bottom row, L-R, a round body SF 9P, bored for 18mm cells, wearing a shock-isolated SF Z32 bezel and a 9P tailcap with AW soft-start switch. Last, an SW01 'Slim' ("Baker's Cap") with AW soft-start guts.

What is that Millennium combo?

It's a KL6 head on an M6 body with two extensions; one FiveMega extension and one AWR extension.

Here it is with a KT4 head:

Those are the cell combinations it will hold; on top, a 2*D Li-Ion, and below, 2x 26670 Emoli (or 2x IMR 26650) and 2x26650 A123 cells.
