Going to Thailand, advice?

I stayed in East Rai Leh, but West was more picturesque and had a killer sunset
definately a beautiful area, hard to catch it on film though its so vivid.

Yes, their spice scale is of a completely different magnitude!

I seriously flayed my taste buds on food considered not at all hot by Thai standards

I'm afraid I occasionally took the easy route of some 'western' food to keep me going
