Good evening everybody.
I've just bought this "cyba-lite oculus" headlamp to use when I'm working as an electrician.
the lamp is ok, but a bit more output would be great!
I took these pics earlier, hope someone can help me to find a replacement for this piece. about 200lm would be great.
The headlamp is driven by 3xAA, I'm not sure if there is a constant current driver. output is High-Low-SOS

Welcome to CPF! Sort of. It would help if you could give us some measurements of the current that is being supplied to the LED currently. Also some pictures of the light from farther back so we can get an idea of the heatsinking that it has.

Ok. the heatsink is alu about 1mm thick, and about 50x40mm.
The LED runs at 0,42A at high, and 0,06A at low.

Swap in a Seoul P4, U or U2 flux bin. You should get double or more output then before with the same runtime.

:welcome: well, to the posting side of CPF!
