How many lux is the wolf-eyes M100x? (guestimate)

I am not sure about the lux ratings, but for my M100, I consider the following stats:

1. M100, 9V lamp rated at 200 bulb lumens, run on 2x168's: est. 130 torch lumens.
2. M100, 12V lamp rated at 300 bulb lumens, run on 4xCR123's: est. 195 torch lumens.
3. M100, 12V lamp as above, run on 2x168's: est. 150 torch lumens.

(I use a 65% conversion factor for bulb to torch.)

FYI, a while back I did a review of sorts:

In my eyes, the throw of an M100 under all 3 of the above is similar to a TL-3.

Hope this info helps.

Best regards.

Yes, in my eyes, and in those of my wife, the good ole TL-3 is a pretty decent thrower. I think that the M100 turbohead perhaps out does it, but only by a little bit. Hard to tell the difference. Perhaps someone else with a more discriminating capability can see more than I can.

All in all, I do like both my WE 100X and the TL-3, in true flashaholic fashion.
