I've been looking into 21700 batteries for an Acebeam H30 and thought it would be a good idea to get a handheld flashlight that can use 1, 2, 3, or even 4 of the 21700s. I want the brightest light in a size that doesn't feel like I'm carrying a baton and is zoomable.

Then, I stumbled onto LEP flashlights and man, was I blown away! The thought of a practical, zoomable LEP cranked my excitement to eleven. Finding out there are zoomable LEPs out there -> Mind officially bIown!!!

So now I am considering what is out there that is not just practical and zoomable but also won't break the bank.

Would love to hear your thoughts and recommendations.

Only one I know of that`s zoomable and it`s a little on the large side is the Acebeam W35.

There are a couple of zoomies.. The Acebeam Terminator M1, Amutorch BT55, Maxtoch LA60, Loop Universe SK01s, Lumintop X0. None are very cheap. The Amutorch is likely the cheapest.
But the Acebeam Terminator is probably the most interesting of them all. Has LED + zoomable LEP.

I love my Lumintop Thor 3.
Highly recommended.
Love it so much, it's my only full-sized LEP, and will remain that way.

I would just recommend if considering the W35 comparing that to the Acebeam Terminator M1. Don't get me wrong the W35 sounds like the most useable LEP out there when it comes to being a very capable thrower but yet having a flood as well. Thing is The Terminator M1 does this as well it's just that it uses an Led for it's flood and it has a very capable Lep. I think the result is that it's Lep comes up a little short compared to the W35 but not by much but it's flood is noticeably better and it's much more portable. Anyway I think it's worth comparing the two before buying an Lep.

Personally I've found YouTube to be a pretty helpful resource when determining which flashlights I want to get. It's not the only thing but when you can see beam shots and comparisons like this why not use it.
