The more I snoop around this forum, the more I learn how much I DON'T know. :whistle: Sooooo... When I found something that was interesting, I hope it's info the forum can use.
I use to have a small photography business and had many camera lenses. I went to my local Best Buy and tried different filter on my Boxer 24W. The standard 72mm ultraviolet filter will screw in nicely to protect the lens of the Boxer. I don't know if this will work with the Boxer 10W, but it's worth a try.

$15.00 seems cheap to protect a great light.

that is what photographers with SLR/DSLR do.

the lens is so freaking expensive to get and replace that they just buy a filter to protect it.

a 10++ filter cost alot little then a 300++ lens :)

Hmm. I've known about this for quite some time. But then, being a photographer, how could I not?

What's even more cool is the fact that you can put COLORED filters on a boxer for various applications. Red, yellow, green, blue, even IR. I found a pack of several colors on eBay intended for B&W photography that would give a veritable rainbow of choices!

I would recommend a SKY filter, they are basically a clear filter that is designed to protect the lens.

Took the plunge and bought a 72mm I.R. SKY Filter.
Fits like a dream on the 24w Boxer and gives that expensive lense a bit more protection.
Brilliant :thumbsup:
