Is mag phasing out 3D's

I've been looking for a mag 3D all over and couldn't find any other than at home depot in a package deal with an AA. I wonder if they're phasing out the 3d's. I don't see them anywhere anymore, there were some on clearance at target a while ago, now they're all gone. Even the 3d led mags are scarce. But there tons of 2d's and 4d's. Or maybe it's just between a supply period.

I imagine if you asked them, Mag would say that the 3D is probably their best seller.

I remember seeing tons of mags at Home Depot, they had a dedicated section for mags.

You might want to try another store. Unless there has been a recent change, Home Depot does not carry the 3D Maglight as part of it's inventory except in the 3D/MiniMag combo pack.

I was thinking that too, but a lot of places don't seem to have the pegs for them either. I'm sure it's just becuase they havent stocked them up yet, maybe it's a local thing since they sell during the camping season so they're not out in full force yet and the ones that are put out are bought up. Was wondering what everyone's take was on it. But like gunner12 said, it could just be the public is enlightened too since 3d mags give the best bang for the buck, particularly with mag leds, and thats what most people see out there, other than the nite-ize.

My stores are out of 3Ds also. I checked Costco, Target and Walmart. No 3Ds! Maybe they're in between manufacturing runs or something ??

Hmm.. my local Walmart has a huge selection of 3D Mags as well as 2D and 4D.

Try Radioshack, every one I've ever been in has 3D and 2C maglites.

Both of my local Sam's clubs have lots of the 3D/Minimag combo packs for $19 sumthin, including the batteries and clamps.
