I have one, and it depends on the pocket. I'd say it's definately too big to comfortably carry in your pants pocket, but okay in a jacket pocket. The clip allows it to be attached either way up. It's a beautiful light, and yes those batteries will work in it.

Would it be able to fit comfortably in a cargo pants pocket? The big ones that are below the standard ones for phones and other stuff. Also, which battery do you think would work better? These AW's http://store.bugoutgearusa.com/18liba.html or the Tenergy ones I've already posted?

Personally I have no experience using those batteries, but AW have a good reputation. I think it would be fine in those big cargo pant pockets.
 
If you had taken a little time to look around before posting, you would have found several threads about this light. selfbuilt's review of it is the most informative, so please refer to that, and I'll close this thread.
