Can someone tell me what the difference between these three are?
Jetbeam Jet-III M R2, Q3 or Q5?

its the emitter bin. (LED) all are XR-E i believe.
you can forget about the Q5, which is the older models. all have been updated to the R2. there are also models using cree XP-G R5. the beam characteristics of the R2 and R5 are different. R5 is more efficient, and brighter, but the R2 throws better.
then there is the Q3 version, which I have, and its difference is its neutral tint. less overall output but renders better in my opinion.

+1

Ever since I got my neutral white EZAA I've been hooked on neutral lights. Much better for outside use; they give more depth perception and better color rendition than cool whites. The Q3/4 5A/B tint bins are my favorite tint. I'll even buy an older version of a light over a newer, brighter one, just to get that tint. A good LED light is going to be bright enough for just about any personal need you might have unless your an LEO looking for a duty light, in the military on active duty etc., so for me it's about the tint and the beam profile and not the pure output.
