Looking for a mini twisty flashlight

1. Multi Mode (with low being a few hours)
2. Small (pocket use)
3. Runs on AA/AAA/CR123
4. Twist Switch
5. Not expensive.

If anyone knows a good one let me know !
thanks !

iTP A2 / A3 / A1 EOS
Read around a bit, they are great for what they cost.

You have just perfectly described the iTP A1/2/3 series. Only you missed out great quality and value for money!

I have both the ITP EOS A1, A2 SS, A3 upgrade and Quark MiNi AA, 123, CR2.

The ITP are slightly less expensive. They come in different colours. They come with a manual, keychain, 2 O-rings and a very handy clip. EOS models can't tail stand due to their attachment point for the keychain. They use the older XP-E emitters. Good solid keychain light. The A2 SS comes in a nice silver tin box with a window. The warranty is 30 days for defects in workmanship and 2 yrs for normal use and service.

The MiNi Quarks come in black or Titanium (more expensive). They come in a sleek fancier gift box which is nice. The grippier knurling makes it easier to handle (the titanium knurling have even more traction). The Quarks come with a 10 yr warranty and are reknowned for their customer service. MiNi Quarks are designed to tailstand. The also have their logo laser etched on the end (a nice touch). The MiNis are updated with the latest most efficient XP-G R5. They also have hidden strobe modes which aren't avail from the EOS series. When rechargable LiIon (not recommended by 4sevens)are used, the brightness is unbelievable. Accessories included are the manual, spare o-ring, battery (2 with the CR2 Al) and paracord lanyard (which I find very useful) but no clip.

For the extra few bucks I prefer getting the battery, latest brighter more efficent emitter, better knurling, more modes, and longer warranty with top notch customer service. The gift box is a nice touch. If the MiNis came with a pocket clip and options for different colours it would be a no brainer.

Overall both the EOS and Q MiNis would be a good choice but I see more value from 4Sevens. They're a great company that listens and develops what people want for a great price and I support them for that reason alone.

Maratacs are great lights for the money. Hmmmm, I should have another one coming tomorrow. People gripe about Countycomm's shipping but they have so many hard to find well made items at reasonable prices I find it easy to flush out an order with other things to defray the shipping costs. While it might cost $10 to ship a $25 light I just ordered a light and $70 worth of cool parts and the shipping was only $10.50.

+1 on Maratac. Better knurling and can tailstand. I prefer AAA, easy to twist one-handed. Currently available in black, natural or genuine copper. The AA has a brighter central beam whereas the AAA is more floody.

Ummm, I think you may have just perfectly described what people gripe about and why they have the policy...

Anyway, I own an EOS A3 and find it superb, but have no experience with a Quark or Maratac, and they are likely better, but they cost 1/3 more OTD.

My only suggestion is to clearly state a budget and to consider battery choice carefully. The price of the light will quickly become history if you are feeding disposables through it. AA and AAA won't be as bright, but I'd rather pay $20 a year for batteries than $200. The A batteries are also readily available in even the most remote locations.

Hey again
I just ordered the Stainless Steel ITP A1 for 35 dollars shipped from Shiningbeam.

I hope I will enjoy the purchase ! Maybe I will get the Titanium quark in the future as a nice toy as the ITP probably won't be all mine and I will have to pass it on.

I really like these small durable flashlights... They seem the most useful to me... Never liked full sized lights, too bulky and always a burden.
I'd rather have darkness than carry around a huge torch.

Guys if I am already here

What are some other Steel/Titanium small lights in that price range ?
(Other than A2/A3/F23)

Thanks !

Quark MiNi 123..... $39 for cool white aluminum. $37 warm white. aluminum.... on the 4sevens site.

Hehe I already made a "memo" to get all the quarks in the future.. I really like them.

So other than the quarks and ITP's/Maratacs, are there any other cool SS/Titanium/Aluminum (bomb proof) mini lights out there at that price range ? Or are these quarks and itp's the best bang/buck of all ?

My A1 SS is easily my favorite light, and even better once it could tailstand.

That's the result if 30 secs with a hacksaw and 2 mins with some 320 grit sandpaper. I'll polish the end properly later...
