I need to replace a broken Maglite lens (D-Cell), so here are my questions?

I would like to buy at a B&M store if possible, I am in So Cal.

I need a plastic replacement lens, and would also like to purchase a glass lens (Something sturdy and difficult to break).

I am not opposed to ordering online, but the only plastic lens I could find was .50 with almost 8.99 shipping (ripoff).

Yes I searched. Some of the current links do not work

Thanks

I see two types listed here: http://www.lighthound.com/Flashlight-Accessories_c_8.html

More types listed here: http://www.flashlightlens.com/str/index.php?app=ccp0&ns=catshow&ref=mag_C_D

I contacted Mag not too long ago about the reflective coating flaking off the reflector of my early 90's 5D Mag, and the lens being in bad shape. They sent me a new reflector, and lens gratis. You could try giving them a call. There contact information is at

Hope this helps.

or you can get a mag accessories kit, it includes clear, red, blue, plastic lens, slip on rubber anti roll\lens holder, and wall mount clips, usually those kits are like $8.

glass lens is not Something sturdy and difficult to break, it is quite the opposite, when it falls on hard surface, glass lens almost always brakes, i've lost at least half dozen of lenses like that, now i only use borofloat lens, for hot wire, or stock plastic for leds.

Thanks, flashlightlens looks perfect. Of course for my application, I would like the acrylic lens, but they are out of stock.

Anyone have any experience with the acrylic lens?

I have a few OEM mag "D" lenses in my parts bin. PM me your mailing address and I'll send them out to you.
