malkoff VME

Yes, as will the M61, M30, M31, and any variant of these.

Just keep in mind if you use the M61 or M31, you will need the lens and gasket kit for it.

Will the M60 fit in the VME head?

Any P60 drop-in Malkoff Devices sells will fit the VME head.

In fact, I have fit the Derelight, KD, DX, and Nailbender P60 drop-ins in mine. If you had the MD2 hosts from Gene, then you could only use the Malkoff drop-ins.

The VME heads only fit the E-series bodies. The Aleph, Surefire E-series, or the others sold here like McGuizmo or Fivemega ect...

bigchelis, how do you ensure a watertight seal when using a non-Malkoff drop-in in the VME? As I understand it, the VME relies on the specific shape and design of the Malkoff drop-in for a proper heat path and water resistance.

I use the Gasket provided and some Mag UCL lens sold at lighthound.com:D

With the MD2 hosts I could only use Malkoff Drop-Ins, but with the VME bezel I can actually fit all my P60 drop-ins.

Uh, what's a VME head?

I noticed that on Gene's website for the M31, but nothing about what it is.

Thanks.
