Maxabeam shipping costs

Anyone any idea of cost of getting a Maxabeam from US to UK?
Apart from shipping my PH50 didnt cost me anything.

I would imagine the cost would be contingent upon the size, weight, declared value and associated insurance--all determined by the specific "package" you would purchase--as well as the speed of the shipping method. These may seem as obvious however.....

Mine weighed 38 lbs, including the big case with all the extras (2x heavy NiCad batts etc).

Case dimensions 23x19x9 inches approx, but packing box made it bigger.

UPS price was $467, Fedex $450 - both with full insurance.

USPS price was $135, but max insurance value was $650.

I opted for USPS.

Edit: I was also charged Porcel Farce handling costs etc

To answer the original question, I just got some US to France shipping quotes for three different packages via global express. Here they are:MBPKG-A $195.25, MBPKG-B $166.75
and MBPKG-B-DOD $176.25. I assume that the price would be approximately the same for a shipment to the uk.

You have to factor in the value of the Euro or GBP to get the comparible cost.
