MS Word help, what is this?

I have the older ~2002 Microsoft word & lately I've noticed these two markers under the indents in the page. Ive circled them in red

They annoy me & I want to get rid of them. Is this possible? I'm a noob with this stuff.:laughing:

They just show the margins on the left, right and top of the page where no printing will occur.

But can I turn them off still? A while back they never use to be on screen, not shore what I did in settings.

They just bug me on screen. thanks

Try switching from Print Layout view to Normal view.

Should be down in the lower left hand corner of the screen.

Make sure you haven't accidently hit the paragraph symbol up on the toolbar -- but that will allow you to see tab marks, spaces, etc.

Mac: Preferences/View/Text Boundaries
