I make bike light with SSC and standard flashlight reflect. The light is very strong and vertical side spill. I try to find new reflect or lens for make the beam shape narrow in vertical direction.
The general reflector make a good spill for flashlight but not very good for biking. Light always spot throw directly to the car driver's eye.
Please suggest for the new one.
Thanks :)

I just found here http://www.ledsupply.com/l2-op-520.php

while these will make the light widened into one line, the useable output gets dimmer.

Better use 2 or 3 Leds, tight focusing and set them a few degrees offset from the middle axis.
much better light and nice beam.

example here:
dynamo powered tri-cree
unf. in german, but if any questions come up, just ask, for the most parts the pics speak for themselves

Hi Krit
Are you using the 20mm SSC reflector?
If so - the Khatod 20mm SSC optic is a better option for less sidespill -more out front.

I will try 20 and 25 mm optic from PhotonFanatic. I see 20 mm oval beam shape in pfd file but I don't konw he has it or not.
