New O-rings for Fenix L1P?

It seems the new L1P's are shipping with much thicker O-rings. Now, this makes me wonder if I should get some spares of the new type since I have the older ones....and I'm always unscrewing it to change out the NiMH batteries.

Has anybody has one of the older rings tear?

I would think as long as you keep the o-rings lubed with a good silicone grease, those gaskets should last a very long time.

Yes, my o-ring was torn when I received the light. Haven't changed it yet. . .

Actually the slots for the orings are bigger too, so they're not interchangeable.
:(

Any suggestions on where we can get replacements on the originals? It would be very helpful if you could post the sizes of the new and revised ones.

Thanks,
Mike

Really.....hope Fenix keeps some of the old style rings around in case some of us need them down the road.
