Hi guys,

I've got a question concerning my G2Z rechargable setup:

A few years ago I got 2 Wolfeyes LRB-169B rechargables (3,7V;1400mah) and the Wolfeyes CH-02 charger.

Now I bought two newer-modell LRB-169B batteries running @ 3,7V;1500mah.

Does the charger still charge them correctly (fully) because of the differnence in capacity?

thx

in advance:twothumbs

PS: this link caused me to start worrying about the issue mentoned above:

"Pila sent along a couple of important FAQ's to share as well:
Q: I own the older Pila charger model BC. Can I use it to charge the new Pila 300P/S and 600P/S Li-ion batteries?

A We do not recommend it. The safety circuits of the new Pila 300P/S and 600P/S batteries differ from the former Pila 150A/S and 168A/S batteries. The older BC charger is not able to completely charge the 600P/S and 300P/S batteries and might eventually damage the Pila batteries."

it will. it will stop charging when a certain maximum voltage is reached. with higher capacity cells it will simply take longer.

m1ruf, although the 2 different versions are very similar, make sure you do not mix them in the same light at the same time. Use either the 2 old ones or the 2 new ones, not one of each. Even though they are the same make, they have slightly different chemistries and capacities, and of course they are different ages.

That rule goes for all batteries, including primary (mon-rechargeable) ones - never mix 2 different cells in the same light at the same time. They must always match. There have been acidents when this rule has not been observed.

Sure,
I'd never mix different cells!
In the G2Z I can only us eone at a time anyway.

nevertheless thx for the info
