Is it fair to say that if I have a P60 drop in that is rated 3V-12V @ 250 lumens... that if I am running 6V - 2 x CR123 (surefire G2) that I will be getting approximately 125 lumens?
3V = 75 lumens?
6V = 125 lumens?
12V = 250 lumens ?

Or am I totally out to lunch here?

Secondly, why is it that if the bulb is not lines up exactly (more so the spring at the bottom of the drop in I am guessing) that the light sometimes does not come on? But once I have it lined up, no issues at all. How do I fix this?

Thank you

1) no, the output won't work like that. The regulatory circuitry will put put the same no matter what
2) Sounds like the positive terminal on the battery won't connect properly if it's not lined up. Solution, just line up the dropin and leave it alone.

The output will depend on the driver and if the seller is stating actual output.

If it is constant current buck driver, it should be the same lumen until you get close to and below the Vf of the LED(usually around 3.7v).

Maybe the module is not making contact(or a bad contact) if it is not centered correctly?

I am not sure whether it is centered properly or not once closed. It looks to be rather straight when I have the bulb out of the body/head.

I have read somewhere on this forum about using tinfoil for better connections? Should I try this? If so, exactly where do I put the tinfoil?
