P60 drop in with E1B-like interface. Too much to ask?

I'd love to find a P60 sized drop in with a simple high/low (with the low being about 3 lumens or less) that is like the E1B in the interface. 1 press for high, press again for low. I suppose I could plop a McE2S switch in a C2/C3-HA with standard drop in. Put that would take some tearing up. I have one from DX that has the strobe and sos which is neat but the low is nowhere near low enough, its still like 30 or so lumens. I guess I'll just put it on the wish list. I would really LOVE Surefire to do this....

I would buy one myself. I think that your idea would be a viable product for Surefire. PK, are you watching ?

The low low is the issue... an older Q2 Dereelight 2SM drop-in would give a high and low but not low enough perhaps.

I wish someone would start making "drop-on" hi-lo tailcaps for the 6P. Sure, I could buy all the parts and hack my existing tailcap but I don't want to... too lazy and too little time.

Then again, the E2DL has a decent high (120 out front) and nice low with exactly the UI you mentioned.

Me too. Not sure why it's something that's so hard to find. Lots of us out here who want the same versus the 5-mode I'm sure.

Closest that I've come is a shaky single-mode Q5 drop-in I got from DX a while back that comes on dim until I smack it a couple of times. ; ) LOL

I suppose I could just wait until the P61L comes out and then see if a McE2S switch will work with it...

I have been VERY impressed with the Wolf Eyes 4-stage. Next time I'm going to get this 2-stage as I really only seem to use BRIGHT AS HELL and low anyway.

+1 for the Wolf Eyes multi-mode drop-ins. I use a 4-mode one in my G2 and love it. Mine has the best beam I've seen yet in a Cree light (P4). The low mode is actually the one I use the most, but it's not nearly low enough to satisfy the OP. Maybe with an opaque diffuser it could be adjusted to ~3 lumens on low. Now that I've played with an EX10 I know what "low" truly means.
