PD30 265 lumen v4, Can't use recharable???

I bought a Fenix pd30 the rew r4 265 lumen light, what a nice light, however I went to order a bunch of battries from battery Junction and they are telling me I can't use recharabel battries with that light the voltage is to high. the voltage onthe recharabel is 3.6 v vs 3 for the regular non recharable. I have been using recharable in all my Fenix lights with out a issue. For the price of the light there should be a voltage regulator in there.

Is this true I can't use recharable battries with that light?

If not what bran should I buy?

I use 17670's in my PD30 R4 all the time and it is also regulated great. I am not sure regarding 2 x rcr123's though as I stick with the 1 cell rechargeable or 2 primaries.
