Question about a Stream light TLR-2

I bought a TLR-2 awhile back right at about the same time the C-4 version came out. I thought I had bought the C-4. The difference is 80 lumens vs 135 lumens. Is there a way to make this into a C-4 output or better?

The only way to make it perform better is to get a custom job. The Streamlight however performs better than the claim 135 lumens. Here is mine as tested by MrGman for real out the front lumens.

As an upgrade I much rather have the option of using li-ion rechargeables. I called Streamlight and spoke to them about using the 3v li-on rechargeables as opposed to the 3.7v we are all accustomed to, but they said it will not be a good idea. I don't know if it was honest or not, but I only used primaries.
