I can't see my sig from school. Reason for this is that attbi (Where my page is) has been blocked!?!

Hope CPF isn't next. Wonder who did what to get it blocked...all I know is I can't store school files there any more. Oh well...

Do you know how they are blocking you (HTTP Proxy, Firewall etc) ?

There are ways

to bypass most blocking methods.

It's a school. All of the computers are on a network. To simplify this (overly!), it's like setting the parental controls on AOL from the master account. The network administrator punches in all of these "types" of websites that can be blocked from viewing. Networks are amazing animals. If Ryan tries to bypass or "hack" through the blocks, all kinds of bells, whistles, alarms and rubber hoses will go off and Ryan will be in deep doo-doo. Not worth it.

Well at first I just thought it was flaking out again--but upon further investigation I discovered that it was blocked

Other things that are blocked that drive me up a wall:

Google Images--I wanted an image of a diskette for my webpage. SO I type in diskette. With google images it would have taken me about 30 seconds to find a decent pic--without it took me like 30 minutes.

eBay--I like to browse

Oh well, I'll live as long as they don't block CPF out. I doubt it was my fault that attbi is blocked out. I believe that it's a district (not school) sponcered thing--so even though they don't really care (At Cyprus) if you check your eMail, they do somewhere else blah blah blah whole district goes without.

ATT is blocked out on the "override list" (I'll put a screenshot up tomorrow morning...or when I can) other reasons things are blocked out include Porn (Google images among others) Free eMail (Hotmail, Yahoo, etc.) and...those are the only 2 I can think of.

Oh well~~I'll live, not worried about that at all...and I highly doubt CPF will be blocked. The tough part is finding another way to get files to and from school without disks--I guess I'll have to eMail them to myself.
