I have amassed a number of burnt out lamp/reflector assemblies from my surefire c3. It seems like such a waste to throw out the whole thing. Is there some way to salvage or refurbish the assemblies?

**Contents under pressure - beware. Any attempts to remove the bulb may have it explode on you**:poof:

I've been looking at my lumens factory LA and figured I could take it apart and re-use as a modified p60 drop-in base. I figure I can epoxy a smaller bi-pin in. However my LA is still good so I haven't broken it down yet.

I think yes it is re-usable.

Well, I recently noticed a thread with one option:

(and if you're not interested in that mod, maybe you unload your surplus on someone who is?)

+1 on the Battery Vampire module

Not only can you reuse the old P60 modules but you can extract further use out of those SF123a's that will no longer power up your flashlights, think of it as a tailoring exercise with you manufacturing additional low output options of whatever colour/host you choose! :D

I also have some burnt out lamps from my m6 as well. perhaps some one could shed some light (corny pun intended) on reusing these as well.
