SF Lego question

Sorry, guys, tried a search but came up snake eyes.

Here's a newbie SF lego question: can I fit a KX1 head on an L2 body?

I gathered that the KL4 head fits on the E1E/E1L body (I have these), but you'd figure that the "L" series would fit each other, such as L2 to L4 (they don't), so I'm lost as to which "series" fits with which lights.

Is there a chart somewheres?

The KX1 head is for one cell lights it wont work on a two cell.

Thanks for the heads up about that - I forgot to mention that it's a modded KX1 (SOB1500) head =) It'll apparently run up to 16v.

Stock L2 body, or body with converter module removed? The threads on the KX1 are compatible with the L2, but I don't think you'll get very far with the L2's converter module still in place.

Is the L2 body with the converter module removed big enough for 3xCR123A, or does it have to be bored out further to fit three cells?
