SOLD: rare McGizmo L1-PR-T 917 Black in mint condition. Veteran CPF'ers will recall this masterpiece from The Man. This jewel was crafted from an original 4-sided Surefire L1 and is powered by two CR123 cells (included). It sports a McGizmo two-stage tailswitch and a McGizmo PR-T head. Don made a very small run of these and I recall him saying that they were a "real b%$&#" to make. But it's hard to find a better example of early McGizmo creativity.

No, because this is an original build from McGizmo. They never came with the original heads. I'm sure you know, "Ford Man," that this mod from McGizmo completely rearranged the single celled L1 into a 2 cell custom.

I have a PR-T head on an e series body and updated the led two years ago which makes it a bit 'floodier' than the original. What a light!!!!!!!!
I know Don was not fond of making them but they sure are a grand light to have and use.

I traded an L2 for mine and wasn't sure I had made a good deal until I had used it for a year; no I am positive it wasn't a good deal---------for the other person!!!!!!!
