Stowing your Zebralight

Love the Zebralight headlamps but the straps make them a bear to pack neatly, here's my solution:

You'll need to get the strap adjustment clips close to the light, then wrap the strap around the light and slip it through one of the adjusters.
Note - If you have a clicky switch you'll need to unscrew the battery clip to lock it out.

I wrap my band like that but don't tuck it. I keep it in a tiny zippered pouch with spare batteries. That way when I'll be using it I can just grab it out of my bag, pull the light out and toss the pouch in my back pocket and have several spare cells.
 
I replaced the headband as it was to bulky to EDC the light with some kite-cord.
Works pretty well even without any elasticity.
