This may not be a completely fair battle because the E2e has been upgraded.

A. Streamlight Strion. 2000mah li-ion rechargeable, 80 lumen bulb (as stated on box). current draw 1475mA. Calc runtime 2000/1475= 1.35hrs.

B. Surefire E2e. AW 17670 1600mah li-ion rechargeable, Lumensfactory 3.7v 90 lumen bulb. Current draw 1325mA. Calc runtime 1600/1325= 1.20hrs

The Surefire is much whiter, smaller and is HAIII. I would say the Surefire is equal in throw but has much more sidespill. E2e has much more useable beam. Here is a closeup pic of the two, Strion on the left, E2e on the right.

And the winner is...........

I really need a new camera!!!

The Strion bulb actually draws about 1750mA off of an AW 17670 as per my measurements. It may be different with the stock battery, as your measurements show, but I don't know why that would be since it is also lithium ion.

The Strion bulb is also more orange and puts out less light as is shown in the photo.

For the best of both worlds I use the 7.2V (9V) EO-E2R 150 lumen lamp and carry spare AW RCR's and a spare EO-E2R in a Surefire SC3 spares carrier.
