Two issue I had with the factory spring, first the battery holder moves a tade from side to side no issue other then the noise it makes, second the factory spring will short on the postive pin from the battery holder if the small brass cover is removed. I installed a Mag spring with a small section cutoff plus 2 large rings cut.
