Anyone use the LF e04 and ho4 in a 6p? I'm wondering how they compare to the stock p60 and p61. Beam shots would be helpful also.:D

.....if you are using 2x RCR123 cells in your 6P, the EO-9 is not a good choice. If you would use this combination you could damage the lamp or more likely the two cells. Your run time may be between 10 to 15 minutes tops. The below are mdocod's suggestions to consider for the 6P/2x RCR123 combo.

Cell configuration: 2xRCR123

Bulb Options:
LF D26 ES-9: 7W, 98 - 56 lumen in 38 minutes
LF D26 SR-9: 9W, 126 - 74 lumen in 25 minutes
LF D26 HO-9: 12W, 160 - 88 lumen in 20 minutes
SF P90: 9W, 118 - 70 lumen in 25 minutes
G&P G90: 9W, 118 - 70 lumen in 25 minutes
G&P D26 7.4V "DX 10W xenon": 9W, 118 - 70 lumen in 25 minutes
G&P D26 7.4V "DX 15W xenon": 10.5W, 136 - 80 lumen in 23 minutes
Pathfinder P90: 10W, 129 - 75 lumen in 23 minutes
WE D26 9V: 10W, 136 - 80 lumen in 23 minutes
Pila GL3 LA: 10W, 136 - 80 lumen in 23 minutes

argh......shot down...... :(

"Runtime (2x3.7V Rechargeable): ~35 min"

what exactly can go wrong?

The 6P/EO-9 would be a pure hotwire toy, not for any sort of general or even practical use. I'm thinking the cells would be running a ~3C draw, not more than a minute or so of safe use. But 385 lumens in a 5 inch package..

I'm on the list for an Elektrolumens EDC-P7, so I'll eventually have a more pragmatic light that's the same size but twice the output

well im dissapointed that i didnt talk to you guys before i had my mom get it for me as my birthday present. (well, i bought it but she's funding it) dangit! :shakehead

Er, guys... the OP asked about the EO-4 and HO-4, which are for use with a single Li-Ion cell (the EO-9 & HO-9 are for use with 2x Li-Ions).

The answer to your question is that you can use either of these with a single 17670 Li-Ion in your SF 6P. The EO-4 will run for up to 35 mins and the HO-4 for up to 50 mins, although it is preferable not to run Li-Ion cells down to empty and you should not push them that long.

You can see the Lumens Factory specification sheet for the D26-series lamp assemblies here, and the various possible combinations which work can be found in mdocod's excellent reference guide.

LOL, looking at the posting times, I think you're right.

metlarules, let us know if there is any more info you need.

We were posting at the same time.Smart minds think alike.:twothumbs
thanks for the info!

While I am on this page, I can only talk about the EO-4 with 1x 18650 cell. This combo is brightest in the two cell type light like the 6P or the Sniper. On the 17670 your run time would be around the 35 minute mark, a little too short for me personally.....in your case the HO-4 might be better, it all depends on how you plan to use your light. I guess that the HO-4 would be about the same or slightly brighter than the P60.
