Fellow flashaholics,
I think about getting a second Surefire 9P, so that I can EDC my first one (SOP for me to have a second one before I carry it)
So the question is - is the beampattern/hotspot of the Surefire 9PL (P90L) the same as in the Surefire 6PL (P60L)?
Reason:
I have the choice between a Surefire 9P incan for 109 Euro in a local B&M shop or a Surefire 9PL for 119Euro through mailorder. The difference in brightness and runtime is negligible, since the 9P will just be carried for fun. I have a few Surefure 6PL and I am not that fond of the hotspot/beampattern compared with my WolfEyes dropins.
I could imagine that both use the same reflector, but a short search revealed no answer.
Cheers
Thorsten
P.S.: I must admit that I would prefere the one in the B&M store, since that adds the "shooping expericence" to the purchase.
