Yes the E1L's bezel (the KX1) is interchangeable with the E1B's bezel.

Is the kx1 available in black? If so where can I find one. I'm looking for the dual output.

Surefire lists the KX1 in HA only. I've not seen one in black.

Do you want the KX1 for the longer runtimes? Other than that, it looks strange on the E1B.

You can put the KX2 in black on your E1B body...or black E1e body...and use an RCR123 for two levels of brightness.

Hum, not bad, I was expecting something crappy! I may try it someday. I bought a black E1E today but for now it will be on LF bulb.

Are there any conversion kits to the e1b that will increase the output effect?

Most of all I want the low mode of 5 lumen to be brighter.
