Surefire E2L and AW 17670

I was wondering if anyone knows if its ok to use the AW 17670 batteries that I use in my Quarks in the Surefire E2L and do you have any idea of the runtime on 60 Lumen high that I would get with it?

You would probably need to sand the tube a little to get the 17670 to fit the E series bodies.

The battery will fit the body, a little snug, I just want to make sure its safe and wondered what kind of run time I could expect from the 17670 as opposed to two primary 123's.

Thanks for the link, that is the information I wanted, I have a E2E with a KX2 head on it and the AW 17670 fits pretty well, just have to shake it to get it out.....

You're lucky - my E2L body is no dice with an AW 17670 - the end taper gets me. My E1L fits an AW RCR123 no problem oddly. I use my KX2 head on the E1L body and from another thread in that configuration you can get around 40 minutes or so on high. So a 17670 will work (mine is a two mode) as well but give more runtime, how much more I don't know (but wish I could find out - may need to do some sanding...)...
