Surefire KL4 MC-E & Ledil Boom
· Surefire KL4
· Ledil Boom narrow beam reflector
· Cree MC-E M-flux WD-tint (wired 2p2s)
· Custom made heatsink
· BB700 driver

Light runs best on 2x CR123 or 2x R123 (3V) cells.
Beam is flawless flood and much brighter than stock.

Enjoy the pictures and thanks for looking.

Nice work Freddy.

The KL4 with a Boom/MCE & K2 TFFC with stock reflector or modified McR-20 are my favorite setups.

The same procedure as every mod--> Great, Great, Great !!!!!

looks awesome! can you post some beamshots?
The beam is really flawless. If you are thinking about upgrading a KL4 using an MC-E this is the way to go.
Can't take beamshots as the head isn't in my possession anymore.

no Ledil boomarang or bad boy driver yet...but the KL4-MCE has been my EDC for about a year now. For those who have people around them who just can't seem to understand that flashlights have the potential to become industrial floodlights, this is a solution:)

I once let someone borrow my 5A tinted one [under supervision] to assist filming via a camcorder, he was floored and said there hasn't been anything like this out in the market thats LED, 'Halogen colored,' and fits in a hotshoe

very nice and clean build!
where can i buy that reflector?

I have two of these, I have no use for them and they've been sitting in my inventory since summer of 2009. PM me with your addess and I'll have them shipped for free. Be sure to post pictures on your build
