hi there is there any upgrades for the surefire u2 ??

If you contact Milkyspit there is, he has a custom mod for the U2, I forget the specs but I think he puts 4 rebel led's in there and the output is somewhere between a low and 400 lumens. Again, I forget the details but it's darn impressive.

I'm wondering if the Lux V of the U2 can be swapped out for the new SSC P7, without completely overhauling the electronics...

Nope. Totally different Vf between the 2, not to mention the physical dimensions.

I have a U2 on the way too and want to get it modded by milky into a U2by2.

But I have contacted him twice with no reply. :mecry:

I understand he must be really busy with all the mods he has.

Anyone have a hotline directly to him?

Also, can someone pm me with what it usually costs to get it modded by milky? (a U2by2)

Just be patient. I have a MilkySeouled L1 with Nekomane TG and it is one bright little light. 100+ OTF lumens. Makes my stock U2 jealous. Scott takes a while to return messages. He is constantly swamped. Next message you send, send it with a read receipt. That at least confirms he opened your pm. Good luck. It is worth the wait. He will probably mod my U2 when I save up some money from selling my lanyards.
