Hi,

In the Marketplace TacticalHID is advertising a new upgraded 24W version. They say they are now using a 4300K bulb, but that they have also stablized the Ballast (I would guess that means the regulator driving the Ballast). They are also offering them in a Titanium/Grey/Silver colored finish.

I don't see any information here on the new model. Is this likely just to be the same as the Oracle, or do we have any real information on the ballast improvements?

I don't believe their newest model has been purchased or discussed by anyone here. I think Richie made the most recent purchase but that light had the old bulb. It does seem to be very similar to the Oracle and you probably can't go wrong with either. I know that member Tactical HID advertises here and gets involved which I like. On the other hand many active users own the Oracle so there is even more known about it. The color option is nice if you don't want black.

EDIT: I just remembered that AAC also advertises the Oracle here and offers a model in silver.
