The Torch? Most Powerful Flashlight?

Sorry if this has been posted before. I tried searching but only found Mac's Torch.

Is this light for real? Cooks eggs, lights cigaretts! :shrug:

General concensus seems to be to buy Mac's or build your own.

This has been discussed in the link above. It turns out that Mac actually worked with WickedLasers to produce their version of 'The Torch'. As long as they have used the same high-quality components as Mac, it should be a good buy.

Should I get one from Propaganda Lasers?

What beam pattern do they use to get that intense heat, that so quickley burns paper? My 130w halogen 12v large spot beam, only still smokes paper, even after 10secs.

On the topic of most powerful, I almost vomited at reading the BS on WL Torch site.

the reason the "torch" and other compact 100W+ monsters light paper so fast is that the bulb is in very close proximity to the paper you are burning. A big spotlight has it's bulb set way back, not as much radiant heat to go with the reflected heat., just wanted to answer that before this thread gets closed (since their is already a discussion on this light running. and this is about the 15th thread started and closed on the subject).

the reflector I got is 4" diameter, & paper is basically touching reflector
