True cost to run EV like paying $17.33 per gallon if not for $22 billion in government subsidies.

NOt every shop even fixes EV, ours wont touch them, tesla is not happy selling parts, that translates into delays, not to mention people that know how to fix those aside from minor dents, same with body shops, no one want to risk a fire. some junk yards wont take EVs. i would say if you have a crashed EV it will take longer, in some cases a lot longer to fix, and defiantly more expansive, batteries are from 20 to 60k.
A skeptical banker/investor given a clipping from the New York World of November 17, 1895, and asked to read it. It was an interview with Thomas A. Edison: "Talking of horseless carriage suggests to my mind that the horse is doomed. The bicycle, which, 10 years ago, was a curiosity, is now a necessity. It is found everywhere. Ten years from now you will be able to buy a horseless vehicle for what you would pay today for a wagon and a pair of horses. The money spent in the keep of the horses will be saved and the danger to life will be much reduced."

"It is only a question of a short time when the carriages and trucks of every large city will be run by motors. The expense of keeping and feeding horses in a great city like New York is very heavy, and all this will be done away with. You must remember that every invention of this kind which is made adds to the general wealth by introducing a new system of greater economy of force. A great invention which facilitates commerce, enriches a country just as much as the discovery of vast hoards of gold."

The banker threw back the clipping and snorted, "Another inventor talking." Original source: https://www.saturdayeveningpost.com/2017/01/get-horse-americas-skepticism-toward-first-automobiles/

Anything is better than living in a fecal capital of usa, even free car and a house wont make it up for it.

Btw, soon enough your house, your cars will no longer be yours, a concept of private property will be going away, your money will be digital, and you will have no control over them, if you think you will be able to move to other state, forget it, you will not be without an approval, and that is just the tip of the iceberg, You are a currency, I told you something much bigger is coming, and your state will be first to implement it, like with all socialist lunacy. so keep those Tesla's charged, someone may need them, and it will be your responsibility to provide them. NWO is coming sooner than you think.

Funny. I think your comment is another kind of fecal capital. My reality can be created anywhere. It's clean and financially sound. I commented to show what is possible and the savings to be had. Only a Luddite/moron with no social graces would criticize me for where I live. I imagine you, since it doesn't show, live in Buffalo Breath,ND.

Here is what you do not understand, you can only recreate what you have around you, which is what you made in a first place, you are the reason it is what it is, with all the fecies, addicts and homeless camping on your streets, crime, gvmnt overreach, all of it is a product of your making, you should not be able to move and recreate it anywhere else. you can not see both sides of the stick, so you create chaos, and destruction, while sincerely believing you improving the world, even when it is falling apart right in front of you.

I looked it up. Flushing, NY. Where your comments belong.

Your comments need Flushing
Lol, you are obsessed with flushing, must be all those feces laying around your streets that you can't flush getting into your head. They are there cuz you let it happen, do not fool yourself.

Hey you could be living in Balmorhea, Frognot, Looneyville, or Jot 'Em Down Texas.

Coffee, Alabama sounds like a great place to start your morning.
Certainly better than Hell, Michigan. (Though just once I'd like to visit. If for no other reasons than to have a local welcome me to Hell. And, just so I can honestly say I've been to Hell and back!)

Graveyards full of non purchased used EVs because nobody will buy a used one.

The Tesla Model Y is the best selling car in the world. https://www.theverge.com/2023/5/26/23738581/tesla-model-y-ev-record-world-bestselling-car-electric

EV adoption in the world is happening quickly, however the USA is divided.

Both my Teslas cost less than this. Kelley Blue Book puts the average cost of a new car at $48,008 as of March 2023. That's 1.1% lower than the average price in February, which was $48,558.Dec 28, 2023

The electric experience in my family has been very positive and inexpensive. A year of energy for both transportation and household was $550. Our next upgrades will be more solar and house battery. Then heat pumps for heating, cooling and hot water.
