Dear Folks:

I just recently purchased a custom Malkoff drop-in LED light for my old Streamlight 20X. It is like a new light, supercharged, on steroids! I am very happy with the quality and service that was provided. And what a pleasure it is to deal with someone who is so knowledgable, ethical and pleasant to deal with.

Gene is really great at customer service. Essentially anything you see on his website he can make warm/flood, flood, or just warm, but you have to shoot him an email and ask.

I saw another member here posted pictures and a review on the 1st ever Malkoff P7 drop-in; which led me to ask Gene for one too.

Gene said that the P7 drop-in will make 600 to 700 lumens, but it will run on direct drive and you have to use 1 cell. Which is why I have a 6P bored to accept the 18650's. When I get it I will post pictures.

Note: I also have a Surefire 3P and will be running the P7 drop-in for an amazing output on such a small light. A 10 minute runtime is not an issue in the 3P set-up. For longer runtime I have the 6P bored.

I just ordered an M30 to go in my new Solarforce L2 that takes the 18650 battery. I have a "lesser" light in there for now awaiting the M30 but I really want the P7 drop in as well. I emailed Gene asking about it but haven't gotten a response yet. My psychic powers tell me he is very busy with pre Christmas production and orders for obvious reasons.

I'm interested in something for the Streamlight. I imagine two great products light Gene's and the Streamlight will make one fantastic light.

I don't see any drop ins for the streamlight 20x on his site. Please tell us Gene's coming out with this soon.

Oh man, I may have to pick up another host to run one of these.

Dont jump the gun just yet......wait for the M30 and try it out, you may not want anything brighter than this.....more than bright enough for me, but then again......

MrG... just curious will the L2 take a AW protected 18650? I didn't know that. Should make an M30 really shine!

Thanks!
