As you may know, the M300 light has two lamps available for it with identical bulbs. One lamp uses a larger diameter brass threaded ring and the other uses a smaller diameter brass threaded ring. These lamps are not interchangeable and you must order the correct one to fit your light. A sample photo is below, the left and middle lamps have the larger ring while the right lamp has the smaller ring.

So my questions are;

1, When did you purchase your light (which year)
2, Where did you purchase your light (which continent, North America/Europe/Asia/etc)
3, What lamp does your light use (small diameter or large diameter)

There may be a pattern and this is what I am interested in. Thank you for your help in advance.

2. USA (from PTS)
3. My assembly looks like the middle one (course knurling and printing on the aluminum but the bulbs looks more like the left one (taller)

Thanks for that, so your lamp has the larger diameter brass ring, right?

I think that the detail on these lamps as well as the height of the element varies from batch to batch.

Yes, larger diameter brass ring.

Do you know of any aftermarket lamp assemblies to replace these?

Short answer, no.....only WE makes these and you have to be careful which size you order as both types are available in some markets, while only one size is available in other markets.....you may end up with the wrong one.
