As a newbie in CPF I need some advice. I want to buy the WE M90 but can't decide on whether to get the LRB 150 kit or the LRB 168 kit.

I know the run time will be better with the LRB 168 kit but does this make the flashlight too long?

Would be interested in your experience in this matter.

i have a M90X converted to the M90-13V with the 168 (18650) extension tube and it is about 3/4 inches longer than a m@g 2D...sorry no pics... I don't mind as it is still a compact-esque spot light....

I do find the 3x168A somewhat clumsy to hold; so much of the weight is far from the wrist. But it is the better choice for the Lumens Factory EO-13, delivering not just sufficient runtime but sufficient voltage to do the lamp justice.

If you haven't yet done so, see my comparison photos in the Wolf Eyes Lego thread. I think I showed both configurations against a 2x168A (extended) Sniper.

Thanks for the great post in the Wolf Eyes Lego thread.

I ended up ordering the M90X with both extenders and 13V lamp and a LED tail cap.

Can't wait to try it out.
