I am looking for an EDC flood light with almost sunlight quality color rendition. I need three modes. High, medium, and barely on (.2lms is good). LOL..this light does not exist huh? Heavy knurling too.

Ra Clicky High CRI, then get a couple lenses from flashlightlens.com, maybe?

I like that device.
However, want to know pure-white, or high-cri, which one helps more?

I believe the OP wanted "sun-like color rendition with 3 levels." It's like he's reading from the Sundrop's description. If you want total flood, the Sundrop is a little floodier than the Sundrop XR-U. Both are available right now. I only make these statements based on the descriptions everyone else here can read, I don't own either light but am planning on getting the XR-U soon.

I have an RA light which is loaded with the High CRI emitter. It has a hotspot that's a bit unpleasant at certain level/distances and it's definitely not very floody. It does have a "wide" beam profile but you can still see the hotspot and tell where the spill begins, unlike the McGizmo Sundrop, Lunasol 20 on low, Zebralight H501, Elektrolumens EDC-MC-E, and Dereelight DBS with an MC-E pill and an OP reflector. I own all these lights as well as 25 others. These lights are floody while I consider all the others to have a hotspot (including the Lunasol 20 on high).

Hey neoseikan, what did you mean by helps more? Helps more to do what, exactly?

For photography the Nichia LED's you're looking at should be great. The higher wattage version would be even better.

The higher Watt version doesn't has H1 level,
so I hope to use as many as possible.
They do have the H1 level in the higher watt version, but you have to ask for it, as they don't list it on their website. I can email you the data sheet if you pm me an email address.

I've used these, and they blow everything else I've ever used out of the water for color rendition, and they do it at over 4000K color temp. The best part about them is that they put out about the same levels as the current offerings from SSC :D

Great! Please email me these info. Thank you !

ok....I would like to find a sundrop website. I cant seem to find one. Can someone supply the site please?

The Sundrop LE works fantastically in the Aleph McClicky Mule head as well, BTW. Pure flood with no collimation whatsoever. Some find it too much flood, but I like it... :twothumbs
