Whoa! Wait a second here guys. Last I checked, we (by that I mean *I*) were talking about how great *I* was. Now we're off on some tangent about the value of Al and Jahn? Huh? How did this thread get so far off topic so quickly? I think it is obvious that I need to moderate with a heavier hand, so as my first official act as the new "heavy", I'll stop typing.

It's unfortunate to see one of my valuable friends of CPF gets behind on posts.

Or are you still trying to figure out your 16" TFT laptop?

I don't have 16" laptop, BUT I do have a big CHROME framed couch.

You are more than a welcome to stay at my house on your California trip.
FYI, I believe Jeff lives pretty close to my house too in Orange County.

Hi guys, a big Thanks to everyone who posted to this topic*, and the sweet words.

1,000 apologies to all for not posting sooner. I've sure been away for a while - to explain that, apart from a few (too many) "normally" stressful happenings, I had a virus, and then another opportunistic illness, which brought me down, really badly. Wow, I had a lot to deal with, while at a l-o-w energy level ......

I'll post more a little later.

I missed CPF for ~10 weeks, and just looking at the number of new topics, I'll never catch up again !!

I'm glad to see that you're back. I was begining to think you were dead - killed in 'Nam or something like that.

If you want to play a quick catch up all you need to read are the posts by Darell and those by the poster/moderator fka "Size15s." They write half of what's here anyway.

Are you coming to CA? You could visit the dentist from Tustin and then top off the day by gazing upon pk's chrome couch! My oh my. I see precious moments in the making!

I had a 3 week bout of what they call 'flu' too..
worst part of it was coughing kept me up all night..sudafed (psudoephedrine) taken in the evening helped sleep..
