UX1L + Nexgen 750 + 2 C Alkaline

I want to build a Mag2C with a Lux III UX1L and a Nexgen 750 converter.
I don't know if the nexgen750 could bring enough power to the UX1L Emitter (Vf of 3.75-3.99V).

Did someone tried this setup?

That would be a good combo the nexgen is a nice converter and 750ma is a easy target to hit with 2 c cells. 2 nimh cells even better.I would think several hours runtime could be expected.The high vf will just mean shorter runtime than a lower vf.

Thanks for the reply Christoph,

I just saw, that PhotonFanatic can convert the UX1J Stars to Emitters.
I will spend 11$ more to have greater runtime
